Windy Smith Taylor Like you, businesswoman and public speaker Windy Taylor has seen the arenas of business, leadership, and professional training defined numerous ways over the years. Is it charisma and positive thinking? Pinstripes and red power ties? Decisiveness? Is it all about the situation? Is it meant only for the chosen few who rise to the top? Or, is there a different story? With over two decades of combined service as a public educator, administrative and executive facilitator, community service participant, and most importantly, with real-life, in-the-trenches business experience, her view is radically different. Windy appreciates, and shares with listeners, that business, leadership, and professional training are moment-to-moment choices and not about title, tenure or position. Leadership and training in business are for everyone, everyday. It is how we should live our professional lives. Windy, sometimes referred to as “Windy-with-an-‘i’” for her ability to stir up a group in a fresh, windswept fashion or affectionately as “Your Awesomeness” for her diligence and motivational skill that brings out the best in people, is known for her practical, down-home southern style; Windy’s fusion of real-life stories and her conversational techniques connect with her audience at an intimate, intense and individual level. Windy Smith Taylor has served as an executive secretary at Singing River Health System for several years. She is a Certified Professional Trainer, a Certified Competent Communicator, holds an IC3 Certification, and a Bachelor in Business Administration. She is a former educator in the public school system and holds a Master’s in Education. As a professional trainer, communicator, and presenter, Windy continues to work with the best and brightest in the professional business field. A member of Bienville Toastmasters, Windy’s penetrating conversations with area groups have been shared with folks throughout the southern states. Organizations such as The United Way, The American Heart Association, and The Coastal Mississippi Healthcare Fund have partnered with Windy when they want results of massive participation by the public and high donation rates. Prior to her public speaking and training efforts, Windy Smith Taylor, a teacher by education and passion, was Teacher of the Year 2001, was the first middle school teacher in Alabama to receive National Certification for Business Education Program, and designed the High School Credit Examination for Middle School Business Education Program.

Music, gardening, public speaking and traveling. I am a passionate supporter of the elderly and our youth. In my spare time I enjoy working with Alzheimer's patients and their families. Writing fiction is one of my all time favorite hobbies. I've written two books and am currently writing my third.
